What is a Roverway?
Roverway is an international Guides and Scouts camp for Rovers (16 to 22 years old) from all over Europe. The camp usually consists of two parts, the so-called Paths and a main camp.
In the first few days, participants split into small groups and set off on a path of their choice. These paths can be spread across the whole country. In the second half of the camp, all participants come together at the main camp and have the opportunity to connect with each other there.

Motto / Theme
The motto of Roverway 2028 is Battasendas – the Rhaeto-Romanic word for guides and scouts. It symbolises friendship, community, nature, growth, adventure and everything that guiding and scouting can mean for young people. With this term, we want to create an inclusive, common foundation that connects people regardless of their origin or language.
Logo
Our logo consists of a mountain and a water drop. These two elements were of course not chosen by chance: thanks to its 1,500 lakes and countless rivers, Switzerland is also known as Europe’s water tower. Some of the continent’s largest rivers originate here – including the Rhine, the Inn and the Rhone. These mighty rivers have their source in small, never-drying mountain streams, fed by glaciers and groundwater in the mountains. Mountains and water – they form a unity, provide us with around 60 percent of our electricity, supply us with drinking water all year round, and they shape a beautiful landscape. Mountains and water are the backdrop for the next Roverway!
