Participation

There are several ways to take part in the 8th edition of the Roverway, taking place in Switzerland under the motto “Battasendas”. Scouts and Guides aged between 16 and 22 at the time of the camp can register as participants. Scouts and Guides aged 23 or over at the time of the camp can register as part of the International Service Team (IST). The IST plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the camp by taking on various support tasks.

Depending on the regulations of the respective national delegation, Scouts and Guides aged 18 and over may also apply to become a member of the Contingent Management Team (CMT), an Adult Leader or a Path Leader.

Detailed information on these roles will be published at a later date.

How does the registration work?

In autumn 2026, National Scout Organisations (NSOs) that are members of WOSM and/or WAGGGS will be invited to register their delegations for the Roverway. Individual registration for Roverway will take place during 2027 exclusively via the respective national delegation and not directly via the official Roverway website.

If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact your national delegation. In addition, we will regularly publish information and answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) on our website.

Further information, for example on the camp fee, the registration process or the timetable, will be announced before the registration opens.
