Division Lead Support

We’re still a fairly small group, made up of the camp leadership and the Division Leads. (You’ll find our organisation chart here.) But over the coming months, as we fill all our departments, we’ll grow considerably. Think the crew looks like a great bunch and want to be part of it? Then browse our wide range of job openings! We look forward to hearing from you.

Host country Switzerland

International Guides and Scouts camps have a long tradition in Switzerland. The first «Moot» took place in Kandersteg in 1931. Another «Moot» followed in 1993, and in 2001 Switzerland hosted the «Eurolife». The world centres «Our Chalet» and «KISC» have contributed to Guiding and Scouting’s international presence for decades. In 2022, the Swiss Guide and Scout Movement organised its largest camp to date: the Bundeslager with 35,000 participants – including a number of international guests. Now Roverway is adding another major event to that list.

Scouting in Switzerland

The Swiss Guide and Scout Movement (MSdS) is the only national Guides and Scouts organisation in Switzerland. Some local groups are religiously orientated, but MSdS as a whole is denominationally neutral.

With over 50,000 members, MSdS is the largest children’s and youth organisation in Switzerland. It consists of 22 cantonal associations and 530 local groups, spread across all language regions (German, French, Italian, Romansh).

Around 300 volunteers are involved at federal level, supported by an office in Bern.
